Its strength is throughput per watt: a single Hailo-8 sustains 30 fps YOLOv8s on six 1080p RTSP streams while a host CPU pulls less than 15 W total. FI Tech deploys Hailo-8 in fanless DIN-rail boxes for harsh-environment installations — desert switch rooms, oil-and-gas remote shacks, and rooftop CCTV cabinets across the Eastern Province where Jetson thermals struggle. The Hailo Dataflow Compiler converts ONNX or TensorFlow Lite models to the proprietary HEF format.
