Computer vision is the field that builds algorithms to extract meaning from images and video — classification, detection, segmentation, tracking, pose, depth, OCR, generation. Modern industrial CV is dominated by deep learning: convolutional networks (ResNet, EfficientNet, YOLO) and transformers (DETR, DINOv3, SAM 2). For FI Tech this is the technical core of every solution: PPE compliance, equipment tracking, intrusion detection, drone-based progress monitoring, and 3D site mapping all rest on CV pipelines, deployed at the edge on Jetson or Hailo and trained on Saudi-specific data hosted in compliant DGX clusters.
